4、 and working together for the common good,we haveplaced high importance on and remained active in managing for theenvironmental protection.Through activities such as a global recyclingprogram,we have always striven to implement appropriate programsfor the needs of the age.Until today,the Canon Group
5、 has reported on its environmentalprotection activities through a variety of media.However,with the goalof instilling a deeper understanding of and promoting furthercooperation with these efforts,we decided to gather all of our results,centered on statistics related to our activities,in one publicat
6、ion thatwill be issued annually.In the years to come,we will continue fostering environmentalprotection activities with the aim of contributing to world prosperityand the happiness of people everywhere.I hope that this publication,inconjunction with our Ecologybrochure,will promote greaterenvironmen
