2、 O G I E STo Our Shareholders:Fiscal year 2009 was a very good year for us,despite the significant economic decline in the first half of theyear.We began to see macro economic weakness across all our target markets towards the end of fiscal year2008 and experienced a significant decline in revenue d

3、uring the first half of 2009,bottoming at 24%below peakquarterly revenue achieved in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2008,before returning to growth in the second half.By the fourth quarter,Avago was again firing on all cylinders as each of our target markets,WirelessCommunications,Wired Infrastru

4、cture,Industrial and Automotive Electronics,and Consumer and ComputingPeripherals,returned to growth.Revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2009 came within 4%of the of thepeak quarterly revenue achieved during the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2008.During the year,we took decisive action to

5、reorganize the Company enabling us to quickly adapt to changesin the market.Significant operating expenditures were removed from the business,resulting in a leaner,morefocused business,driven to achieve profitability.Even so,we continued to invest in R&D by hiring engineers tomeet our technology dev

6、elopment needs.As a result of this commitment to R&D,we continued to introducesignificant new products in each of our target markets.Within our Wireless Communications business,during fiscal year 2009 we launched a new generation ofFBAR multiplexers now being used by key mobile phone handset manufac
