3、n EV Quality Infrastructure”is a project proposed by Indonesia under the APEC Automotive Dialogue(AD)for implementation from November 2025 to June 2027As electric vehicle(EV)adoption accelerates across APEC economies,the region encounters challenges,including fragmented standards,inconsistent confor

4、mity assessment systems,and limited cross-border interoperability all of which hinder trade,increase compliance costs,and reduce public trust.This project addresses the urgent need for regional cooperation by focusing on enhancing EV safety and interoperability through harmonized standards and robus

5、t conformity assessment frameworks,ultimately supporting sustainable mobility and market integration across the APEC region.Project Objectives To enhance the capability of APEC economies in implementing good governance of standardization and conformity assessment(CA)in the EV sector,including the de

6、velopment of robust regulatory and quality infrastructure frameworks.To share knowledge,facilitate benchmarking,and identify best practices in ensuring safety and interoperability of electric vehicles through effective standardization and conformity assessment systems.To formulate strategic recommen
