2、not well understood by global citizens/consumers.Often when people talk about company ESG performance,the understanding of what goes into that performance is lacking especially at the level of global citizens/consumers rather than more keyed-instakeholders.Ipsos recently completed the fourth wave of
3、 the Ipsos Global Reputation Monitor study on ESG priorities for multinational companies.In our latest research,we not only seek to understand how ESG priorities vary by industry but have added a layer to understand how some of the worlds largest companies perform against these priorities.First of a
4、ll,as in previous years,we sought to level-set the understanding of E,S,and G and how those priorities stack up against one another.We defined each of E,S,and G in consumer language and then asked global citizens/consumers to rank E,S,and G in terms of importance for multinational companies.As weve
5、seen in previous years,Society tends to be the most important pillar of ESG followed by Environment and then Governance.This pattern tends to hold across countries,though there is a more even split between Society and Environment in China and India,and a stronger tilt toward the Environment in Mexic
