3、iled past 34.2bn in 2023 and is on course to grow still further in 2025.The biggest single segment of the luxury consumer market in Switzerland is,as it is everywhere,fashion and apparel,with that and sports apparel taking the lions share of the market.Interestingly,luxury watches almost exclusively
4、 all made in Switzerland are only bought by a quarter of the population.More attractive to the Swiss shopper are high-end cosmetics and perfumes,driven by affluence and an increasing desire to be more natural and sustainable.In fact,sustainability is a key driver in the Swiss luxury consumer market,
5、with nearly half(48%)of Swiss luxury shoppers saying that they are willing to pay between 5%and 10%more for sustainable luxury goods.A further 15%would go as high as 25%more.That means that a staggering two thirds(63%)would pay somewhere between a 5%and 25%premium for more sustainable luxury goods.I
