3、2007,the Tennis Industry Association(TIA)and the United States Tennis Association(USTA)have collaborated to survey tennis participation in the U.S.through the PhysicalActivity Council(PAC)Study on Sports and Physical Activity,a partnership that currentlyincludes eight of the major governing bodies a
4、nd trade associations in the U.S.Sports andLeisure industry.These include the International Health,Racquet and Sportsclub Assocation(IHRSA),National Golf Foundation(NGF),Outdoor Industry Association(OIA&OF),People forBikes(PFB),Sports and Fitness Industry Assocaiton(SFIA),Snowsports Industries Ameri
5、ca(SIA)and USA Football(USAF).This annual study,administered by Sports Marketing SurveysUSA,starts with a nationally representative panel of over 1 million Americans and featuresresponses from 18,000 people ages 6 and older.The study currently includes 122 separatesports,fitness and recreational act
6、ivities.Strict quotas associated with gender,age,income,region,and ethnicity are followed to ensure a balanced sample.In 2021,the TIA launched a separate participation and engagement study(PES)incollaboration with the National Golf Foundation.Consistent with the PAC survey,this studyuses a sample of
