3、igher year-to-year.Despite this anticipated increase,Turkiye will continue to rely on imported oilseeds and their derivative products to satisfy the countrys growing domestic and export requirements.In the case of soybeans,imports are forecast to hit a new record in MY 2026/27,with a sizeable portio
4、n likely coming from the United States.Oilseeds In MY 2026/27,Turkiyes total production of oilseeds sunflowerseeds,cottonseeds and soybeans is projected to increase slightly year-over-year to nearly 2.6 million metric tons(MMT).This increase in overall oilseed production is primarily attributed to t
5、he projected expansion in sunflowerseed production which will more than offset the forecasted contraction in cottonseed production.Improved weather conditions will also play an important factor in lifting production higher.In contrast to the last two growing seasons,which suffered drought-related se
