4、arch.Engagement in the NHRA Student Intern Program NPWS had previously been involved in a student intern program through the NSW Bushfire Risk Management Research Hub.In 2023,NPWS expressed interest in participating in the NHRA student intern program.Following an assessment of applicants,development
5、 of a project plan,signing of an agreement and navigating the NSW government recruitment process,Shabnam Varzeshi commenced with NPWS in late March 2024.Coordinating the necessary administrative tasks between the four organisations took some time and could be streamlined.The NPWS Experience Shabnam
6、was formally placed in the NPWS Operational Improvement Team with Dr Felipe Aires as her direct supervisor.The Science and Insights Division also provided Dr Kat Haynes to co-supervise.Shabnam attended regular team,unit and branch meetings.In-person sessions were also arranged to maintain connection
