3、egies based on their comparative advantages and are undergoing significant industrial restructuring.The approaches adopted by Morocco,Trkiye,and Egypt in promoting industrial transformation and upgrading are highly representative within the MENA region,offering valuable insights for Global South cou

4、ntries pursuing industrial development.Over the past decade,the MENA region has experienced steady economic growth.The industrial sectors contribution to gross domestic product(GDP)has increased from 38.0%to 40.6%,alongside ongoing improvements in the economic diversification index.Manufacturing out

5、put has expanded rapidly,notwithstanding some fluctuations,and the trade structure has continuously improved,with the share of manufactured goods exports rising significantly from 16.3%to 41.8%.Nevertheless,a manufacturing trade deficit remains evident.Morocco has developed an industrial ecosystem c

6、entered around the automotive industry,advancing from basic assembly to integrated full-chain production.Trkiye is transitioning from conventional industries such as textiles to more value-added manufacturing industries,including automotive,machinery,and Information and Communication Technology(ICT)
