2、 Research surveyed 1,012 mainland Chinese travelers about their travel plans and preferences,including willingness to travel outbound in 2023,choice of destination,desired travel products,and top influences on accommodation choice.Three months after China dropped inbound quarantine and reopened bord
3、ers for outbound tourism,and just two months after the first pilot program to resume outbound group and package travel,many are waiting for the recovery of Chinese outbound tourism to pick up speed.There are logistical challenges to be resolved namely international flight capacity and pricing,as wel
4、l as visa processing for countries that require this from Chinese citizens.Additional restrictions placed on travelers from China at the start of 2023 may have further slowed recovery in the first months,particularly for countries that intentionally limited flights or visa services.The good news as
5、we look forward to Chinas May Labor Day holiday and summer travel season,is that many circumstances have improved.COVID-related travel restrictions on passengers from China have been dropped.International flight capacity is slowly recovering.The list of countries to which Chinese travel agencies can
